In July 2012, a former female teacher from a top school was investigated for allegedly having sex with a secondary 4 student on more than one occasion:

We have managed to establish the identity of this offender after conferring with multiple sources including a former RI teacher who has intimate knowledge of the case, and three current/ex Rafflesians who have direct access to the victim himself ( all identities shall be kept anonymous to protect their privacy as promised).
Her name is Mdm Norhayati Binte Abdullah, who formerly taught History at Raffles Institution. Prior to that, she taught history at Temasek Secondary School. She was also a teacher in charge of the hockey team. She got married in 2006, and is the mother of two children. Her last known address is Blk 346, Tampines St 33.
